Associate Professor at the Department of Medical Neurobiology at the Hebrew University and the ELSC brain center. He spent two years as a professor of neurology at Harvard University School of Medicine. He has published more than 40 scientific papers and books. He is one of the leading experts in rehabilitation and brain plasticity. He has won numerous awards and recognitions such as the Krill Prize for Excellence in Scientific Research, the Wolf Foundation (2011), the James S. McDonnell Foundation (JSMF) Scholar Award in Understanding Human Cognition (2011) and was selected as a fellow of the European Research Council (ERC) (2013).
