Goren-Khazzam Senior Lecturer in Neuroscience, Edmond and Lily Safra Center for Brain Sciences, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. Naomi Habib is a computational neuroscientist with broad interdisciplinary training and extensive experience in computational biology, genomics and genome engineering, with a specific passion for solving complex problems and for development of new technologies. Dr. Habib took part in the development of transformative technologies that contributed to all fields of research and medicine, which enhance our ability to manipulate cells and study cells with high resolution, including single nucleus RNA-sequencing and the CRISPR genome engineering technologies. Dr. Habib won several prestigious awards and grants, including the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) fellowship for the Howard Hay Whitney fellowship, the Alon fellowship and a European Research Council (ERC) starting grant.
