Michela Matteoli

Full Professor of Pharmacology, Department of Medical Biotechnology and Translational Medicine, University of Milan and Head of the Neuroscience Program at Humanitas, Clinical and Research Center. Her scientific career has focused on the synapse as the site of communication between neurons and, more recently, on how synapse function is affected by inflammation. She is a member of the Academia Europaea and of the International Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) of the Paris School of Neuroscience. He is a member of the Scientific Council of the Umberto Veronesi Foundation and of the A. Volta Center for Scientific Culture. She is the author of over 120 papers and reviews and several book chapters. See CV complete.
