He is full professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he directs the MontiLab, a research laboratory focusing on the interplay between language and thought and consciousness and coma. Italian, Milanese by birth, a Bocconi graduate, he earned his PhD at Princeton. Martin Monti’s works have been featured in some of the most prestigious international scientific journals.
