Massimiliano Sassoli de Bianchi is a research fellow at the Center Leo Apostel for Interdisciplinary Studies (CLEA), Vrije Universiteit Brussel,Belgium (VUB), and head of the Laboratorio di Autoricerca di Base, in Lugano, Switzerland. His research focuses on the foundations of quantum physics, quantum cognition and consciousness studies (self-research). In 2017, he was one of the organizers of the international symposium “Worlds of Entanglement”, held at the VUB. He is a member of the American Physical Society, the American Association of Physics Teachers, the Society for Scientific Exploration, the International Quantum Structure Association, and the International Network on Foundations of Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Information.
